Our Berkeley job is getting wrapped up. Lots of progress. Floors, cabinets, sliders, siding and interior paint. Ipe’ deck is almost bbq worthy. Countertops on Monday. Another big week next week. Homeowners move back in next week. We are all excited!

Check out our almost complete project at Sloat garden center in Martinez. We toppled all the old shade structures, rebuilt the shed roof structure and assembled the new steel shade structures. Just in time for spring! If you are looking for plants this is the place to go. Knowledgeable friendly staff and a local owned business. Looking forward to our next project at the pleasant hill store.

They say it doesn’t rain in California. Well we are happy we are doing trim on this job and can step inside for a couple days.

What a difference a few days make. Our Orinda project is getting Sheetrock and siding. Big turning point when the walls get closed up and the roof goes on. Oh and solar too. This house is also a power station.

Time flies when you are building bad ass stuff. Check out one of our Orinda projects. We removed the existing garage to rebuild with a second story bonus room. New foundation and slab due to the old foundation sinking and sliding down the hill. We framed the new garage, bonus room, laundry room, stairs and landing. Unfortunately sometimes remodeling can expose unknowns, this house had a lot of secrets. We had to add a roof on top of the existing master bedroom to be able to i...nsulate, we rebuilt the awning at the front of the house due to extremely Shitty carpentry, we had to replace 10 more windows than expected due to low quality windows improper installation a lot of surprises. A big part of this job was getting rid of the spiral staircase in the middle of the living room. The second big part of the project was to take the Spanish villla look away and push it towards the modern ranch look. It’s going to be a big change! Well we are a week or so away from closing the walls up so I thought it would be a good time to post some pictures. This is about 5 months of work from demo to now. See more

Out with the old! We just started a project with Sloat Garden center in Martinez. Out with the old shade structures new ones are on the way. This stuff was so rotted that once it fell to the ground we hardly had to use any tools to take it all apart. Next week new black top.
