Non-negotiable Must be able to lift 50lbs routinely, up to 80lbs during the course of work. Must be punctual and on time. The WAREHOUSE associate provides a variety of warehouse functions such as: the loading/unloading of trucks, assembling orders ,prep/pull orders, order product, inventory products, cleaning of showroom & warehouse, warehouse organization, inventory location, logistics, efficiency optimization, displaying stock, etc. Experience in tile trade is a plus, but is not required....MUST BE ABLE TO DRIVE A FORK-LIFT proficiently. Maintains accurate and detailed records of incoming and outgoing orders. Maintains a safe working environment by obeying all safety rules as outlined in the Safety Program and by reporting all accidents, unsafe conditions, and/or unsafe acts to Management. Performs other related duties as required. Experience as a tile helper or tile showroom/warehouse associate is desirable. Address and resolve customer returns and order errors. Flexible and adaptable to change Team player with a positive attitude Takes pride in workmanship and cares for completing the job on time Respectful of customers, coworkers, vendors, reps, and of themselves. Uses COMMON SENSE. Takes initiative to resolve issues and to make the work environment more pleasant and efficient. Deductive reasoning. Education and Knowledge: Requires high school diploma or GED Experience: Looking for candidate with experience in warehouse, stockroom or sample department (or similar).Experience in the tile trade a plus. Demo or residential construction experience, desirable. Must be able to drive a fork-lift. Experience with tile and the terminology is advantageous but not required. Willing to train. Requirements for tile setter MUST BE ABLE TO DRIVE TO AND FROM JOBS! Reliable transportation. Non-negotiable Minimum 7 years tile setting experience required references and portfolio of work is a plus Must be able to lift 50lbs routinely, up to 80lbs during the course of work. Must be punctual and on time. Having your own tools is desired. We will provide you with specialty tools as needed and replace tools that break during the course of work. But basic set of tile tools and saw is desired. Able to communicate with the client clear regarding schedule of job, layout details, possible changes, and any other install questions that arise during work. Always can refer the client back to the sales person or the office, but a basic level of customer interaction and customer service is required. A self-starter and able to work with little supervision but maintain a timely schedule. is able to float walls and pans and also install WEDI/HYDROBLOK/RSS waterproofing systems, and knowledge of Schluter's Detra is a plus. Skilled in custom tile installation. Glass, natural stone, porcelain, large format, quartz, porcelain slabs is a bonus. We cater to a high-end custom clientele both commercial and residential. Our installer needs to be skilled across many varied material types and installation methods. skilled in plumbing, basic electric, wood working/framing, sheetrock/baseboards all desired. We don’t do much outside of tile but some homeowners require baseboards or a wall patched or a valve moved or replaced. We like to be a one stop shop for all our clients. Knowledge of safe and efficient demo-helpers will be asked to demo jobs Must be able to grout unsupervised using cement-based grouts. Must be familiar with other grout types and their applications ie urethane, fusions, epoxy and other specialty grouts Reports to installer at all times while on the job Ability to drive fork-lift is not required but desirable Education and Knowledge: Requires high school diploma or GED Must be able to provide work eligibility documents- green card, work visa, citizenship, ss card Experience: Looking for candidate with 10years-15 years+ experience in tile setting. A journeyman level installer versed in many of the trade's skills. A tile setter that has worked both commercial and residential. High end custom experience is desirable, however commercial volume installing experience is equally desirable. Biaggio Tile & Stone is looking for an all-around tile installer. Our current crews are able to do multiple things and provide a one stop shop for most our clients. We want someone honest and hardworking. That takes pride in their workmanship but knows how to get a job done ahead of schedule. Willing to work with or without a helper. Pay is determined by experience for both Tile Setters and finishers/helpers. Upwards of $40-$50/hr is available for the best, most skilled installers. We believe in rewarding our team member for top performance and producing at the highest levels for the company. Finisher/Helpers have at least 1-year experience as a full-time helper or installer, with references provided of work history.
