L’apertura / 7 Windows Smooth, simple undulating surfaces of white are derived from the digital, each opening is a framed view of a drawing contained within. The drawings depict a deeper understanding of the relief, layer upon layer of the surrounding undulating surfaces are reflected in the drawing contained within.... The series questions the convention of the window and encourages new ways of looking. The artifacts question the ways in which we see and are seen. The pieces are a continuation of our ongoing inquiry into the dichotomy of building that investigates notions of craft, material, making and experience. #tighearchitecture #LaBiennalediVenezia #fabrication

Ultimately the experience culminates with the arrival at the grand hall temple. A place for secular worship and contemplation. The grand space serves as the hub of the facility and is encompassed by a large sunken desert garden. Stillness, A Center for Contemplation is a multi-use facility devoted to awareness, an enviroment of serenity and exploration that offers an experience which enhances reflection and awareness through architecture, art, and nature. Desert Conduits. A series of circulation paths that vary in type, scale and experience. The passageways allow for a memorable journey as one navigates through the Center. Desert Gallery 5. Prism Gallery. The diffused desert light is filtered through layers of apertures within the thickened roof.
