Farewell Miss Fancy Pants. It was a great ride. You helped me follow a lifelong dream, but it’s time for us both to move on. You are going to a great home to be restored to your original beauty. It was incredibly difficult to watch you get pulled away, and I will admit that I was a bit teary-eyed. But I know my dreams don’t end here. Instead, I move on to my next chapter.

Thrifty Chic Fans: I will be at a booth tomorrow at Silverlake Flea from Noon to 5pm. I will be in a tent (not the Shasta) and will have a rack of clothes from my mobile boutique that I closed this year. Most are brand new, but I have 25 special vintage items from my personal collection. All new items are priced to sell at $10 each! Vintage are priced individually but still really great deals! You don't want to miss this sale!

Today, it is official. The Thrifty Chic mobile boutique is out of business. Last night, I sold all of my inventory to an awesome gal who was a customer of mine. She is going to start her own side hustle, and I am going to help her as much as I can. The last 8 months have been a fun ride, and I will never forget this part of my journey. Thrifty Chic is not going away. I am getting my blog up and running, and it will help women stay fashionable and frugal. In the future, I may ...start another collection and sell again...but just for fun. At some point, I hope to create a line of vintage inspired dresses, so women of all sizes can enjoy the beauty of vintage dresses without the limitations of vintage sizing.
