The Bar 355 family is heartbroken to announce the passing of our own Jeffrey Boozer (@boozehues ). Jeff passed away this past Saturday night, and a brilliant light went out in all of our lives. Jeff was with us since the early days, providing us with the smoothest of jams and the most beautiful smiles. Jeff helped create the soundtrack of our little bar, we think he knew who we were before we even did. His depth of both knowledge and love for music was astounding to witness.... He brought absolute joy to our turntables, regardless of whether there were 50 or 5 people in the bar. He always put his whole heart into everything he did. Jeff helped us grow and learn over the years. He was also a very talented artist, many of our staff are lucky enough to have personalized pieces from him that we will cherish forever. Jeff was always open to talking to people about art, music, life, or anything at all. Always a kind word. Always a head tilt goofy grin. Always a song to share. We don’t have the words for how much we are going to miss Jeff. They simply don’t exist. Our little family lost someone very dear to us and we are all deeply in mourning. We love you, Jeff. Thank you for all the high fives, records, drawings, hugs, kindness, and joy you brought into our lives. We will miss you always.

Next up we checked in with our Bar Manager, Cory! Cory has been spending most of her time at her volunteer job with @rocketdogrescue Since Shelter in Place started the demand for a furry quarantine friend is at an all time high, so things have been very busy for her. She’s gotten 20 dogs adopted in less than two months! When she’s not with the pups, Cory has been dreaming up new cocktails for when we reopen! She makes sure to get her supplies from her favorite local bars to ...help support her fellow bartenders! Her current favorite sipper is a martini spin that has been hitting the spot after a long day with the doggos.
