Middle school students at Academy of Thought and Industry - Museum Mile have initiated a compost project! Check out their launch presentation, enlisting support of elementary friends! From ordering, installation, research and maintenance, the ATI Students have taken the initiative and gained the support of their community. They are selling ATI-branded countertop compost bins and encouraging families to begin dropping off their food waste at the school to be composted and used in their garden. The money raised from their initiative will also be used to fund supplies needed for their garden.

On Wednesdays, Academy of Thought and Industry in The East Village celebrates and leverages the power of community. They spend time reflecting, share progress towards goals and collaborate on challenges. Here two students meet to share challenges and receive valuable advice. As one student put it, "I have heard similar advice on podcasts, but nothing beats hearing it from a peer and someone you trust."

The Theory of Enchantment is an online course in humanistic principles for high school students and adults. We are partnering with Chloé Valdary to bring this course to teens and adults to explore love through understanding and understanding through self-examination. We use pop culture, philosophy, and psychology to deeply examine ourselves and better understand others and important issues in civil rights.
