Thank you Church for unleashing compassion this week! We've received Amazon orders and you've been driving up to donate food and diapers all to be given away. Every week we partner with Food is Free Solano in stocking their Food is Free stands. This week is a good week! Donations can be dropped off or delivered to our Benicia Campus Monday through Thursday 9am-4pm.

Pause the scroll and repeat this out loud, "Greed you are not the boss of me! I already have a boss and I choose to follow Jesus!" The Bible teaches us to speak the truth in love, but we are so quick to speak. Jesus never spoke truth to anyone he did not love, for he loves all! If we are to truly walk in the footsteps of Jesus and proclaim him as our boss, we must deny greed. Attached are 3 questions to think about this week. May they help us address greed and shed the shackles of condemnation.

Jesus stood up and said to her, "Woman, where are they? Has no one condemned you?" She said, "No one, Lord." And Jesus said, "Neither do I condemn you; go, and from now on sin no more." John 8:11 ESV Greed is the intense and selfish desire for something. On Sunday, we focused on the emotional side of greed, the selfish desire to serve ourselves. And examined what scripture says about it. To put greed in its place, we must let go of swift judgement, being right, and condemnat...ion. We must let go of using condemnation towards each other! Church, let's decide this week to not allow the emotional side of greed to rule over our life! Greed is not our boss! God, help us this week recognize when we are condemning those around us instead of loving those around us. Help us to see one another the way that you see us. Church, we are looking for more food donations so that we can feed our hungry friends.
