The Windham hosted the second vaccination clinic yesterday and boy are we excited. Our Resident Nurse Kim especially so!!

The Holiday cheer is flowing through our hallways from the beautiful decorations our residents are placing on their ledges. These are the winners of our Annual Holiday Decoration Contest. First place went to Karen and her wonderful Santa display. ... In second place we have Frankie and her DIY ledge displaying her self-crafted decorations ; and in third place we have Beverly with an elegant winter wonderland display. All of the ledges look so pretty and festive this year! It brings our community so much joy to see all of the beautiful decorations!

Great weather calls for outdoor activities! Our Tai Chi and Line Dancing Classes are a fun way to stay active and healthy!

We celebrated #nationalkindnessday this past week! Our residents completed multiple acts of kindness some included complimenting people, recycling something, and calling a friend and saying hi. #cadencesl #elevateseniorliving

Check out our latest Senior Story, Super Stellar Stella, the Intergalactic Nurse, created by siblings Rocco and Bridgette! Our #SeniorStories program invites local children to meet with one of our residents over a video call and get to know them through asking a series of interview questions. After the interview, they create a fairytale with their new senior friend as the main character and then presents it by making a video. This has been such a great avenue for #interge...nerationalconnection in a time where many seniors and students are homebound. Thank you Rocco and Bridgette for brightening our day! Our Annual 50's Car Show and Elvis Performance looked a little different this year but we still had so much fun! Elvis traveled around the outside of our community singing to the residents on their balconies and the Model A and Mustang cars paraded around our community as we admired from a distance. We topped off the fun with root beer floats and a BBQ lunch delivered door to door. There is always a way to keep the good times rollin'!

Aloha from #HawaiianDay at The Windham! Our #happyhour cart delivered Hawaiian drinks and leis to every resident while they listened to Hawaiian Elvis serenade them. Even dinner was served in style with a Hawaiian BBQ and a Polynesian concert streamed straight to everyone’s TVs.
