Here are all of the fire engines and tankers this morning leaving our parking area and headed up the hills behind us to continue fighting the fires. Firefighters, we LOVE YOU! The White Barn and the entire community will be eternally in your debt.

The White Barn survived another night of the #glassfire despite all of Heath Canyon above us burning. We are eternally grateful to Calfire and the tireless work of firefighters who have been staging here, cutting fire breaks above us and setting backfires to stop the spread. This portrait is painted by Anne-Marie de Rivera, and is one of a collection of portraits of American woman who have helped move the dialogue forward.
