129 years ago: George has been busy for some time manuring the garden for Mamma. She would have to hire a man to do it and as he was willing, she gave him the work & the pay. He does not like hard work as it Spoils his hands for the violin. He told Grandma the other day that he would not belong to an orchestra and have a piece of music stuck up under his nose to play from nor any man to boss him. He further said that he knew as much on the violin as anyone; that no one could teach him any more. Grandma told him that Grandpa Lannay took lessons ten years & then was only an amateur. No use.
