When he drills there's no pain (that was good enough for me)

After 3 days of getting my teeth worked on (courtesy of Dr. Kevin Cassidy here in South Lake Tahoe) observing how he numbed my gums, handled the drills and stuf...f I asked if I could take a stab at it. To my surprise he said, "Yes!" and asked his receptionist, Roberta Rosendorf Benvenuto if she could take a pic to document the procedure. I started with polishing his molars and gave him that suction hose thingy to drain out any spit. I accidentally put it in his nose but had the same effect. Before I started drilling Dr Cassidy he asked was there anything that inspired me to want to attempt being a dentist? I said the movie Marathon Man with DustinHoffman was a huge influence and as I started drilling I asked, "Is it safe?" See more
