Wouldn’t it be cool if the students in your school’s STEM program and/or Automotive Vocational Tech course could build an Electric Vehicle like this? Look at the smiles on all those faces! http://ow.ly/EhHx30rAQ1o
If you are a teacher or a school and you’re still on the fence about how Switch Vehicles can help your STEM program, here’s a testimonial from a math and engineering teacher in Concord, CA. http://ow.ly/fevU30rAQ1n
#ThrowBackThursday We had a visit today from Rafael de Mestre of http://ow.ly/4EEM30rAQ1l and Alan Soule a participant both of whom will drive an EV AROUND THE WORLD in 80 days. Check it out. http://ow.ly/Ceby30rAQ1m
Our teachers sing the praises of our Switch Vehicles and the STEM curriculum that benefits the students...even down to the little things, like showing up to class on time. http://ow.ly/lx5A30rAQ1k
Thanks to Sonoma Clean Power for their support and commitment to clean powered transportation! This heartfelt testimonial comes from one of the instructors who appreciates this opportunity to learn. http://ow.ly/VMQT30rAQ1j
Something Nice about The SWITCH Lab Faculty Reflect on Switch Vehicle Implementation ... Over the past few years, Switch electric vehicles have transformed the way automotive education is taught at high schools across the state. We asked a few high school instructors to reflect on some of their lessons learned from adopting Switch vehicles at their schools. Robert Thayer at Davis High School said students love working on the vehicles and they are a great way to engage students if your school has the expertise and facilities to maintain them. He recommends painting or powder coating the parts before working with them. To read the full story, click here!
Great video from our friends at Clovis West High School. Mike Miller completed our workshop last summer, now he is leading his students towards the future of auto transportation and employment. Great job Mike and the students of Clovis West, and thanks to CA Energy Commission and http://atleducation.org for sponsoring 19 high schools in Calfornia. https://vimeo.com/335475338... Did our first EV Workshop east of the Mississippi in Chicago in March. Got as warm as 39! Had a great time working with 7 inspired instructors. See www.theswitchlab.com for more information.
We had a great time in Chicago. Did a workshop at Niles West High School with 7 great teachers. Christi seemed to have a hard time keeping her feet on the ground. Check out our summer offer for 20% off workshops through 2019. Limited number of seats available to check it out soon. https://theswitchlab.com/workshops/
Showed The SWITCH Lab to students at Fairfiled High School last week. We don't usually show the awsome speed and power but they really wanted to see the Switch at speed. Don't tell anyone.
