Recording the rhythm sections at Studio B for an upcoming EP by the band Broken Silence

Starting work on a new song by The Ramifications band by recording the drums, bass and guitar.

At The Sound Palace's Studio "B" yesterday we recorded drums, bass and guitar for a new song by The Ramifications band. (Social distancing was maintained throughout the session.)

Just worked a double session of recordings with Jamie Foxx. First we did dialog replacement for an animated feature produced by Pixar and post-production provided by Skywalker Sound. After a short break we did dialog replacement for a feature film produced by Netflix with post-production by C5 Sound in New York City. ... As with each of his prior recording sessions at The Sound Palace, Jamie Foxx was a joy to work with. So talented! Special thanks to my friend and composer Trevor Wayne Howard whose previous experience in post-production really saved the day.

Another remarkable talent, actor Rainn Wilson (The Office; Utopia) was in The Sound Palace's "Studio A" today to record an upcoming TV advertisement for Microsoft. During the recording the Sound Palace teamed up with Sonic-Union, a New York company specializing in Sound Design, Voiceover Casting and Audio Post Production. Special thanks to our studio interns Jessica Granados and Ryan Trivoli. Look for the upcoming spot for the Microsoft Surface as allegedly endorsed by a fellow named MacKenzie Book (a.k.a. Mac Book.)
