ALERT - Tortoise Thief - This happened at our new Lodi location. Please let us know if anyone recognizes either one of these two people. To the person who stole our tortoise, and to your accomplice - The tortoise you stole is valued at $1,000, which makes this theft a FELONY. If you return the animal back to us, promptly, we will not press charges. If someone recognizes you before you bring it back, we will be pressing charges to the full extent. #tortoisethief

It’s crazy how small these little guys are as babies, and how huge they get as adults! Fun fact about Sulcata tortoises: These guys are also know as an African Spurred tortoise. The term Sulcata comes from the Latin word sulcus which means ‘furrow’. This refers to the furrows/deep lines on their shells! - These tiny guys are currently at our Elk Grove location for $124.99!
