This lumpia is our playful food fist bump to Steph Curry's quiet but remarkable leadership. KUYA ADOB(R)O'S POUTINE Inspired by our IRL brothers, these fries stay strong while smothered with our love and in this case, our love is a silky, tangy adobo gravy with hidden nuggets of cheese curd treasures. vegetarian TRIPLE DOUBLE TOCINO CUBANO This sandwich was made for our friends who work hard to play hard. But because of the rain, we're going to do things a little differently and we'll have the LAST BATCH of January Sauce Kits available for purchase at our truck, UberEats, and DoorDash. They are loaded with playlists by @djumami @jaynerio @ukulenny, easy recipes to try at home, and a yearbook-inspired activity for a little 2021 memory makin'. SO! Happy #FAHM fam! This month is particularly special for us. It's when we get to be extra loud and proud, celebrating our experience as Filipino Americans. For us, Fil-Am hxstory month is all about celebrating old and new memories of welcoming everyone to our table. It's about the spirit of kapwa and unity. Not asking folks to assimilate or compete, but instead integrate their flavors, friendship, families into our own. Making extra room for a new friend, partner, coworkers'... dish at the family party food spread. Welcoming in diversity of thought and experience with curiosity and unconditional love. That's at the heart of what we mean when we say #everyvoreiswelcomehere. This month you can expect to see, taste, and feel the love, starting with a PDA post for one of our new chosen family members, @domingosinternational. They are our new neighbors at @parklabgardens and from day one, they treated us like a Fil-Am family would. We nonstop feed each other new kitchen experiments. We are proud to recommend customers to also try their food. And they saved our butts when we ran out of propane in the middle of service. They went out of their way to get an extra tank and lend it to us even tho they were also running low. This type of generosity is so similar to what we experienced growing up in the Philippines.
