Day 43: Today I Celebrate DRumming & drum circles.. I love the flow & feel of drumming in a drum circle. This is one of the drum circles that I hosted while living in Baja California.. Learning to be comfortable in your skin is important... Day 41: Today I Celebrate Freedom of change... I'm so very grateful for change.. there have been points in my life where I depend, resist, & flow with change. Not necessarily all on that order. Change is the only thing that I can truly trust. If it weren't for change, I'd be dead. Change assists me with of all the choices that I made that led me to some of the most valuable life lessons.. in soo so grateful for the option, inspiration & necessity of change..... Day 40: Today I celebrate DOING LIFE RIGHT for Me.. We each get the opportunity to live life how we want to.. The choice of how you want to live your life is a miracle.. Growing up we may have felt like we could hardly do anything right because our caregivers would correct, punish, shame, or neglect you.. have you ever felt like you either didn't belong, people always talked poorly about others weak points, you had to behave perfectly to be accepted, or you were just plain w...rong. Do you recall that even when you behaved properly or said things just right, you were still wrong.. these patterns may lead to an adult life where everything, wasn't good enough. As an adult, The caregivers turn in to the voices in your head, correcting & scolding your every move. Who would have known how much of an. Impact your upbringing has on your adult life.. Sabotaging your every move.. I encourage myself & others to live life reminding that our caregivers may not have known how to teach me to live or love life happily.. A life filled with compassion, inner peace, mutual support, emotional balance, or joy takes quite a bit to practice. I practice & enjoy reminding myself of things like - I am good enough, I am perfect, do that again, I'm likable, be more like you, the world is safe, people are different, people are good, that's a great idea, life is meant to be happy, you're intelligent, you'll do great, happiness is a natural state of being. Positively Talking to myself in the mirror, naked dancing, walking, singing, or journaling are also other methods I use to improve the way of life. Day 38: Today I celebrate REAL FREEDOM.. Most people think that we want the kind of freedom that comes in the form of a new car, being debt free, younger intimate partner, lavish 401k, winning the lottery, latest iPhone, or unlimited green lights in traffic.. For me freedom is being free from the destructive patterns of living that I learned growing up... being free happens when I take another step towards breaking the very destructive self sabotaging behaviors.. today I ce...lebrate real freedom.. the freedom that this very present moment brings. Day 36: Today I celebrate Winter fun.. I love that winter brings new ways to enjoy life. Fires, marshmallows, snowmobile, sledding, games, cabins, etc.. Bundling in many warm layers is key for when I'm out in the amazing winter wonderland that's here to play in & enjoy.
