Positive news on the California housing front. In the fourth quarter of 2019, we led the country with the highest share of equity-rich properties. An equity-rich property is defined as a property that's combined estimated amount of loans secured is 50 percent or less of it's estimated market value. And in good news for our whole country, only 6.4 percent of all U.S. properties with a mortgage, were considered seriously underwater.... There is a lot of concern about a potential housing crash similar to 2008, and with all that is going on in the economy, rightfully so. However, these numbers are another significant indicator showing the current housing market's health is tremendously better than in 2008! Stay safe!!
