If you missed it last year, we're excited to offer our money in private practice workshop again for nearly, newly and seasoned therapists in private practice! This is an inclusive workshop to support you, your relationship to your practice and to money. With an emphasis on group support in a well rounded workshop, we want to support you in making new financial goals and those necessary changes to get closer to your ideal practice. Melody Wright, LMFT and Natalie Spautz, LMFT ...will be co-facilitating. Sign up and find more information here: www.therapywithnatalie.com/workshops This workshop is great for those who struggle and want to explore their relationship to money, want to identify and work through blocks to financial success, get more organized, notice taxes feel daunting and need guidance, seek insight into the industry we work in and want to develop a larger sense of community. This workshop is not for those feeling fully content in their practice, those who don't struggle with budgeting, goal setting, those who don't want to explore money - it's individual and social symbolism and meaning, those who are highly organized, are feeling happy and independent in their business organization, are on top of taxes or accounting and or have a secure and healthy relationship to money free of shame or anxiety.

The back of my new business card My practice is all about supporting people to build connections in ways that are truly nourishing, conscious and secure. The path to conscious connection is not always easy or clear, but we are gaining more knowledge about conditions for healthy connection like safety, respect, honesty, open communication, receptiveness, active listening, vulnerability, allowing emotions, supporting mutual gain, patience, respecting differences, self-respons...ibility, non-violence, offering benefit of the doubt, altruism, self awareness and valuing self and others boundaries and needs. For many, when we do feel connected- to ourselves, to others we are close to and to our larger communities, this is when we are strongest and most fulfilled. Healing connections, and blocks to connection, is foundational for all other healing work. #therapy #connection #consciousrelationships #healthyboundaries #consciousness #support #healing #therapy #secureattachment #psychotherapy #therapywithnatalie #buiildingbridges #relationalwork #personalwork #fulfillment #strength #psychotherapy See more

* Perspective * We have such limited control in the world. We can only control ourselves, how we respond to life and whether we choose to expand our perspective or not. Much of the time when a circumstance is happening in our life, when we feel mistreated, when our basic needs for respect, connection or safety are unmet, emotions can feel overwhelming. We can feel powerless to change the situation or someone else's actions. We can lose the sense of our own power in the situ...ation. Sometimes there is nothing to do outside ourselves. Sometimes something happens that is painful and wrong. Sometimes things happen for no reason at all or there was nothing we could have done or said differently to change it. The healing that can come with understanding what happened with a full, inclusive, compassionate perspective is powerful. Looking at events in our lives from all angles liberates us from a limited view. It brings a wisdom that sees beyond a momentary reaction or a generalized understanding of a complex situation. The gift of perspective and our ability to change it based on what we focus on is profound. It can be the basis of healing so much in our lives. Expanding our minds beyond pain and constriction helps us to move out of that place. #perspective #personalgrowth #therapy #mentalhealth #therapywithnatalie

It's a wonderful time for reflection and reconnection as the holidays come to a close, the cold winter weather continues on and the new year begins. This transition into a new year can highlight the ever-present opportunity for growth and change. We can use this time to ground, deepen self awareness, meditate, dream and process. #winter #newyear #2019 #reflection #reconnection #selfawareness #meditation #dream #process #therapy #therapywithnatalie

Becoming aware of what you take in or guard yourself from taking in is powerful. Sometimes we mistakenly take in something that is not good for us. Other times we may block what is truly nourishment for us. Much of the time, these tendencies come from past experiences, even from what we learned when we were very small. Discerning or noticing when something is no longer serving us is so important. As is getting in touch with deeper needs in our bodies and minds. When we come ...to realize in this moment, how we interact with the world and others around us has to do with underlying beliefs and learned relationship to them, so much can come from reexamining them with a wiser, compassionate perspective. Then we are free to start revising so that we can feel healthier and more alive. I support couples and individuals in my practice to use awareness to understand deeper underlying relationships and beliefs that affect how they live life and how sometimes those patterns maybe getting in the way of what they long for.
