There were a few things that really struck me... 1. It's about a brilliant artist, Mindy Alper, who struggles with mental illness and finds the strength to persevere. 2. It reveals the ways that art-making can assist the process of self-discovery and emotional growth. Her large scale papier-mâché work is breathtaking.... 3.
