TheraCare Speech Therapy

In general, I don’t do a lot of endorsing businesses on our therapy page. However, I have to say that I ordered from a company on Etsy for my daughter’s birthday this week. My six-year-old daughter loves bath bombs and I got a variety of bath bombs from this company that have little toys inside of them like a little mermaid or a Hatchimals or a toy bracelet. The bath bombs are extremely well-made, and as you can see on the postcard, your purchase goes to a worthy cause. This company employs adults with disabilities to make bath bombs. If you’re looking for a unique gift for the little girl (or boy-they make some with dinosaurs and superheroes) In your life, I highly recommend this company!

This coming week (July 20-24) is ART week at TheraCare! We will be creating fun art for the waiting room and learning about color, art vocabulary, and supplies! (You may want to dress your kiddos for messy fun!)

We had a great time during camp week! We pitched a big tent in the waiting room complete with camping chairs, a barbecue, binoculars, and in inflatable bed with a sleeping bag! We roasted miniature hotdogs and made s’mores! Our clients studied vocabulary related to camping and read fun books about camping!

This coming week, starting Monday, June 22, is Disney week at Theracare! If you are a current client, feel free to wear your favorite Disney shirt, hat, or costume! It is going to be a fun week of learning!
