Purrmaid Cafe' and Adoption Center

This is our newest addition at Purrmaid.... His name is Patrick. He's 2 years old and even hunkier in person......

******** JOE UPDATE******** HE WENT TO A FOSTER HOME YESTERDAY! Please meet Joe ...... He's the most handsome kitty in alllllllllll the land...... ... He came to Santa Paula Animal Rescue Center as an injured stray. When he came to us, all 4 of his paws were badly burned. We were sure he'd been involved in the Santa Paula fire we'd experienced several weeks ago..... We were able to treat him and get him feeling 100% again.... We also neutered him, microchipped him and vaccinated him..... We sadly discovered that he is FIV positive. So he unfortunately cannot go into our communal kitty room to play with other kitty, and he cannot come to the cafe.... :( FIV is a feline specific virus that can be passed front 1 kitty to another..... :( If you are a household looking for one kitty who is awesome or a household who has other kitties that are FIV positive, we strongly urge you to consider adopting Joe! :-) Please share..... This is Pixie and Mamacita ...... They did not come in as a "bonded pair" .... But I'm sure hoping they leave as a bonded pair ...... I'd even throw in the chair.....

After 7 long months at the cafe ....... Miss Delia's mommy and daddy FINALLY walked in our doors and found their missing puzzle piece!!!!!!! Delia came to the cafe from Santa Paula Animal Rescue Center as a sweet but shy, adult kitty that just wanted attention on her terms and absolutely loved the company of other kitties.... ... During her time here she made many kitty friends.... We watched as they would come and go and yet she sat here .... Month after month..... Until finally an amazing couple came in and saw what we've seen in Delia ALL this time.... Not only does Miss Delia have a new human mommy and daddy ..... She also has a kitty sister to become best friends with..... We are thrilled for the awesome little family..... Happy tails sweet, beautiful, patient Delia.....

This stunning little girl is Piper. She comes to us from Santa Paula Animal Rescue Center ..... A Good Samaritan had taken her to the shelter after finding her in a cardboard box that was taped up near a dumpster behind a local grocery store! Thankfully, these awful events have not affected Piper physically or mentally..... ... She is as sweet as any cat could possibly be! We could all learn a thing or two regarding her capacity for forgiveness!!!!!!!! Unfortunately, the person who did this to Piper has never been found or held responsible for their horrific actions! Piper is looking for an exceptional family and home! :-) she is under a year old, spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and FRLV/FIV snap tested, with a negative result..... We're getting new kittens at the cafe'!!!!! 5 new babies will be gracing our doorway tonight and available for adoption! Please come meet them this week....

Boy do we have some SUPER frickin cool news to report!!!!!!!! Rocket AND his mom Eleanor, were not only adopted ...... BUT THEY WERE ADOPTED TOGETHER!!!!!!!! We are beside ourselves with JOY!!!!!! They went to a wonderful family here in Camarillo! Rocket and Eleanor were adopted into a family with the coolest mommy n daddy.... 2 human sisters and 1 human brother. They also have 2 canine siblings as well ..... They hit the kitty Jack Pot!!!!!! ... Happy tails sweet babies!!!! We're over the moon THRILLED...... See more

Our BEAUTIFUL Mamacita was adopted this weekend to an amazing family that are so excited to love her and welcome her into their home and family...... She has an awesome new human brother named Ayden and a beautiful canine brother named Onyx! They already love each other... Happy tails pretty girl .... You deserve the very best that life has to offer..... And we couldn't be happier for you.....

We are so excited for Thunder and Valentina! Their family picked them up from the cafe' Monday night and flew to Seattle Tuesday morning...... And right now are on a plane to Japan to start their new lives together..... We were so happy to have been able to help this awesome (Military) family, keep their furry family members.... Happy happy tails sweet babies .... We will miss you, but we are thrilled that you've been reunited with your family that loves you so, so much.....

Our beloved Natalya, now Natasha, was adopted today and went to her furrever home here in Camarillo..... Literally about 3 minutes away from the cafe'!!!!!! Her new human mommy and feline brother, welcomed her into their home with open arms and paws!!!!! She's going to have the happily ever after that all kitties deserve to have... Our gorgeous Queenie found her furrever home today!!!!!!! She was scooped up by one of the nicest and most wonderful, cat loving families, we've ever met!!!!!! To say Miss Queenie hit the kitty Jack Pot, would be an understatement!!!!! Happy tails sweet girl..... We wish you nothing but the very, very best that life has to offer!!!!

So our super rad friend Wendy Wooten, designed, created and put this "division" together for us, that we've been wanting and needing for over 1 year!!!!!! We had a small area that we wanted to divide for our new kitty guests until they could get acclimated and also to use this area as a meet and greet space for potential adopters..... Wendy nailed it!!!!!! We could not be more pleased and excited to have this great space to accommodate all of our needs! :-) A huge thank you going out to our dear friend Wendy for making our wishes a reality! :-)

So we have the VERY BEST NEWS EVERY!!!!!! Our stunning and sweet Hot Tamale, now named Wednesday, was adopted this morning after being at the cafe' for over 1 year!!!!!!!! And if that wasn't the bestest news ever.... She's been adopted by Ozzy's (formally know as Desi) mom and they will be sisters forever and always!!!!!!!!!!! Both cats were at the cafe' for over 1 year and truly forged a sisterly bond..... We could not be anymore excited and thrilled that the...y are together again!!!!!! We're sending a HUGE THANK YOU to their sweet new mommy for taking a chance on these 2 beautiful black cats ..... Over the moon happy!!!!!! See more
