It's wedding planning season! With so many engagements filling my feed these last few weeks I wanted to share my top 3 tips on how to pick a wedding venue! 1 Outdoor ceremony: Outdoor locations with amazing light are my favorite! ... 2 Aesthetic: Open areas for cocktail hour for guests and beautiful light for portraits are a must. 3 Amenities: Clean restrooms, private getting ready suites, secure parking, immaculate landscapes for photos are a plus! They say that the best view comes from the hardest climb. Isn't that the truth? 2020 has been quite the uphill battle. The journey to 2021 hasn't been easy AT ALL. Hands down probably one of the most challenging years for us all. ... But can I admit something? The journey hasn't been all bad. There have been some beautiful things that have blossomed from the fire of 2020. I have met some incredible people. Learned lots of new things. Realized just how resilient and strong we can be. We innovated, we imagined, we created new ways of doing things. We loved fiercer, we grew together, we appreciate more. I am so thankful for the wonderful, positive and open minded people that I have the privilege to know and work with. I love hearing all of your stories of overcoming these crazy 2020 obstacles and making the best of what we have. This couple endured a crazy adventure with me as we climbed up a mountain in near-freezing temperatures to celebrate a private and intimate celebration of their love. I can't wait to share more of their incredible love story but for now, I'll just leave you with this incognito peek.
