Peak Climbers, It has been a pleasure having the community back together and crushing these past few weeks! Unfortunately, our time climbing together will be put on hold until further notice. Alameda County has updated their guidelines to follow the new state restrictions and has been rolled back down to the purple tier. Effective Tuesday, November 17th, all booked climbing sessions will be cancelled and we will be closed until further notice.... Moving forward, all memberships will be placed on immediate hold status for the duration of the closure. YOU WILL NOT LOSE ANY TIME. When we can safely re-open, you will be the first to know! We will be OPEN to current Members and Punchcard users starting this Friday, October 23rd! Reservations are live for current members and punchcard holders. Hello Peak family, It was great to see some of the Peak community back in action at the gym Friday, but unfortunately, we have some bad news. Alameda County has updated their guidelines to follow San Francisco county’s lead in prohibiting climbing gyms from opening until further notice. ... Effective immediately, Saturday October 10th, all booked climbing sessions will be cancelled and we will be closed until we receive new information from the county. We have no timeline on when this may occur. No one was billed for October and all memberships will be automatically placed on hold status once again. We hope to see you all back here soon!

Things are happening!! Alameda County has officially approved gyms to reopen next week with limited capacity! Beginning October 9th, we will be open to current Members and Punch Card holders at a 10% capacity in accordance with county guidelines. ALL member accounts will be unfrozen on October 9th and will be billed prorated fees for October 9th-October 19th. Your first full month of billing will be charged on October 20th. If you wish to keep your account frozen, PLEASE UP...DATE YOUR ACCOUNT IMMEDIATELY. As with everyone else, we are unsure when we will reopen but rest assured we will be here for you the moment the shelter-in-place orders are lifted. We cannot wait to have all of you back! Sadly, it appears likely that the shelter-in-place order might continue into May (and possibly further). As such, here are some important FAQs: What does this mean for your membership? ALL memberships are FROZEN. All memberships w...ill be unfrozen once the shelter-in-place is lifted and we are open for business. All frozen memberships will be billed $5 per month. You do not need to call or email to freeze your account. If you’ve already called or emailed, your request has been processed. What can you do to help the gym? Opt-in! If you’d like to, you can still pay your membership fees! We're beyond thankful for the messages we've received from our amazing members that want to continue supporting us through this challenging time. COVID-19 UPDATE It is with a heavy heart that we have decided to close the gym effective today, March 17th, 2020 until further notice. Management and staff agree that it is our moral obligation to join the global effort to slow the spread of COVID-19. We cannot in good conscience operate a facility that may contribute to the transmission of this dangerous virus. COVID-19 threatens to overwhelm our health care system, and causes a significant threat to our members, guests an...d staff. We will re-evaluate opening the gym throughout the coming weeks and closely monitor how the situation develops. If you wish to freeze your membership during this time, please send us an email ([email protected]) by Thursday March 19, 2020. All membership freezes will be automatically unfrozen upon reopening.
