On Monday, January 18th, there will be no school in honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. School will resume on Tuesday, January 19th.

We are so excited to receive some of these lesson kits! These STEM kits were assembled by STARBASE Edwards and the Museum of Arts and History (MOAH-Lancaster) while the Lockheed Martin Corporation donated the grant to purchase supplies for 1,500 STEM kits to community youths in Title 1 schools in Palmdale and Lancaster. http://ow.ly/nZtc50D8Zle

Based on the Regional Stay-At-Home Order, The Palmdale Aerospace Academy will institute several changes to our campus operations beginning December 14th until further notice. Campus access will be by appointment only. You can make an appointment by calling our office at 661-273-3680 between the hours of 7:00 am - 4:00 pm. Walk-up services, while limited, will be handled on a case-by-case basis in a safe manner. Our meal distribution dates and times will also be adjusted. Our... As we all know, we weren’t able to have our usual picture day at the end of last year. That means that the latest photo we have of our students will be two years old by the time the 2020-2021 yearbook is published. Luckily, our yearbook publisher has developed a mobile-friendly website that allows students and staff to take a selfie using their computer or mobile device with an operating camera. In order for us to create our traditional portrait pages, we are asking for all ...6th-11th graders to log in to the site below using a device with a camera to submit a selfie of themselves for this year’s book. All students need is their TPAA ID number to access the site. The website includes easy to understand instructions for staging, taking, and uploading their selfie. Once we receive the selfie, we will approve or reject the image according to school standards of appropriateness. Below are 2 resources. While it is not mandatory for students to participate, anyone that does not submit a portrait will not be included in this year’s book.

For the week of November 23rd, we will be distributing meals via the loop from 12:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday. Meals given on Wednesday, November 25th will include meals for the remaining of that week. We will resume our regular hours of distribution on November 30th. A parent, guardian, or student may pick up meals. Please have an empty seat available for staff to safely place meals in your vehicle.

November 5th is Picture Day! To maintain a socially distant environment, we are only taking photographs of our "new to TPAA" students so they may receive a TPAA photo ID. Student appointments are arranged by last name between the hours of 2:30 pm through 5:30 pm. Please check your email as additional information was sent home to those needing an ID Photo. The schedule is as follows: A-CE 2:30-3:00 CH-F 3:00-3:30 ... G-LE 3:30-4:00 LO-M 4:00-4:30 N-RI 4:30-5:00 RO-Z 5:00-5:30 Photo packages may be purchased online at https://home.oconnorphotography.net/online-ordering. On-campus orders will not be accepted. See the attached price lists for each campus below. The following health and safety guidelines will be in place: Only one parent will be allowed to accompany their elementary student on campus, each guest will be required to go through a health screening which includes a temperature check, and masks must be worn at all times with the exception of when the photo is taken.
