We are no longer in the eye of this storm. From 21% to 33% in 2 days! A lot of water will continue to flow in and keep filling her up. Great job Oak Shores Team, including everyone in the Community that has helped us or others during this wild storm!

What a difference a night makes. Maintenance and Code Enforcement are busy cleaning up the aftermath, but rest assured they're getting it done. The Private Marina (Smith Construction) is also out in full force moving their docks back into place! Shout out to Hollie Hoover for working in the storm on her Birthday . Happy Birthday girl.

Current situation at the lake. High winds and extreme rains still. Please check your drains and drain pipes occasionally and make sure no water clogs or flooding from your property is causing erosion damage. A shout out to our HARD working Maintenance and Code Enforcement crews working tirelessly in this Storm.

Effective today, the Oak Shores Campground is closed due to the Station at Home orders in effect. Additionally all non-essential travel is not allowed, therefore vacation rentals are not allowed until the orders are lifted. Update: The State’s new stay-at-home order will go into effect 24 hours after our region drops below 15% ICU capacity. Our region is not yet at that point. Wh...en our region meets the metric to trigger a shut down per the order, the State and County will alert the public and local businesses that the order will go into effect in 24 hours. (This is less than the 48 hours initially reported.) As of today, our region has approximately 20% of our ICU capacity available. As a reminder, SLO County is in the Southern California region, which also includes Imperial, Inyo, Los Angeles, Mono, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, San Diego, Santa Barbara and Ventura. For updates on current capacity, visit covid19.ca.gov/stay-home-except-for-essential-needs.
