It was the last summer beach clean up with Surfrider Foundation on Saturday and you bet that your The North Face crew was out there picking up an unbelievable amount of micro plastics and styrofoam. Today we are celebrating Global Climbing Day, along with over 300 gyms, in 200 cities, within 50 countries around the world to provide inclusive climbing opportunities, and lower barriers to entry. Our Goal is to share the values we've learned through climbing with the world. We believe in a world that is united by difference, bound by empathy, and strengthened by understanding. ... Today a few members of our staff joined with Surfrider Foundation's monthly Beach Clean up down in Newport Beach. At The North Face, we are committed to Loving Wild Places and doing whatever we can protect our planet. Its a small but mighty step we can all take. Surfrider hosts a monthly beach clean-up EVERY 1st Saturday of the Month. We would love for you to join usfor the next one on Sept 7th. Hope to see you down there.
