Not everyone responds to medications and counseling to manage their depression symptoms. And it can be very frustrating. You should know that options available. In fact, (TMS) is a safe, FDA- approved treatment for adults with major depressive disorder. TMS uses focused magnetic pulses to a specific area of the brain. As a result, the neurons affected by depression are stimulated and reactivated. This can significantly improve your sym...ptoms in as little as 4-6 weeks. Any side effects are generally milder than antidepressants. The Moment now offers TMS as part of our comprehensive holistic mental health services. Find out if TMS is right for you, DM us to receive a quick assessment to determine if you are a good candidate. https://www.themomenthealth.com/transcranial-magnetic-stimu

Ever read the troubleshooting tips of a technology or electric product and it tells you to unplug it for a short time and then restart it? And then, almost magically, it works again. You’re not exactly sure why...but, well, IT WORKS AGAIN!... Taking a pause for self-care can have the same rejuvenating effects on how you operate. If someone was reading the troubleshooting tips about you, how would you define unplugging?

In the past, the holidays were so filled with doings that they crept up on us so fast...and then, in a blink...they were over. This year certain restrictions and safety precautions are forcing us to forgo the traditions, parties, and holiday busy-ness of recent years. While 2020's disruptions have been stressful, it's also required us to slow down and live in the moment. A chance to enjoy simple pleasures that we often took for granted with all the running from place to pla...ce. The challenges of 2020 can present us with an opportunity to take time and just be. This New Year's Eve, savor your favorite tea, write a letter to a cherished loved one, take a long walk in your neighborhood, and take the time to breathe and reflect. Letting out what you don't want to keep and savoring the lessons you gleaned from this taxing year. And, hopefully, as next year rolls around, part of our returning to normalcy will include taking time to just be.

Find A Little Normal This Holiday Season As we are all too well aware, nothing about this holiday season is going to be normal. Holiday parties, shopping, and even having kids interact with Santa takes on a whole new look. So how can we enjoy a little normal during this completely abnormal year?... Consider spending some time listening to your favorite holiday songs. Music is powerful. It calms and uplifts us. Some songs may even be a virtual time machine bringing us to memories of cherished times. While we may not be able to enjoy choirs or carolers, technology gives us access to just about any song we can think of. Take an evening to just be with the holiday (or any inspirational) songs you love. It may bring the comfort and encouragement you need to get through this strange time.

Isolated...Distanced...And Anxious? Nothing about this year has been easy. And as much of the country is dealing with significant upticks in COVID-19 cases, we all want to do our part to keep ourselves and others safe. You’ve probably learned to adapt to virtual meetings and video calls with co-workers or loved ones. Sure, it may not be the same as meeting in person...remember when we used to do that? ... But with all the changes life brings, we have to be strong, open-minded, and willing to do what is necessary to make things work. Online therapy can be very helpful...especially in these strange times. In fact, online therapy gives a safe, convenient way to connect with a professional so you can vent, process, and work through the emotions and setbacks brought on by everything 2020. If you’re staying in to stay safe, know that you are never alone. Learn more themomenthealth.com/
