For us, the real winner of the Super Bowl was Adaptive Design and Microsoft’s Adaptive Controller. And congrats to our friends Jordan of Born Just Right! It was awesome to see you in the ad! Way to help change the game for people with limb differences! #AdaptiveController #AdaptiveDesign #limbdifferences #DifferentIsAwesome #ChangeTheGame

Many people with limb differences encounter a barrage of experiences that make it difficult to feel confident about the way their body looks (including feeling isolated & alone, being stared at, people making insensitive comments, etc.). Therefore, we’re delighted by this positive campaign that raises awareness and promotes #bodyconfidence for people with limb differences. We’re grateful to Zebedee for this great work. Check it out, be inspired, and share with others! https://www.zebedeemanagement.co.uk//limb-difference-aware #LimbDifference #LimbDifferenceAwareness #amputation #amputees #Confidence #Zebedee

Using a bionic hand to assemble another hand. Way to go, kid!

We’re very pleased with the work of the two teams at UC Berkeley’s Berkeley Engineering. They created two innovative R&D prosthetics for Theo - one with a manual crank (plus party mode, with lights & music) and another with DC motors. Theo was very pleased. #prosthetics #prostheticHand #bionics #bionicHand

Do you have a few moments to share your experience using prosthetic devices? I'm training a team of UX designers who are building a prototype for a prosthetics company, and we'd love to hear from you. Please share your experience here to help inform us how to design and build better devices: https://docs.google.com//1FAIpQLSebx65pVZanlaIv-A/viewform #IAmAdaptive #WeAreAdaptive #UXforProsthetics #BuildBetterProsthetics

Here you can see the finale of our mold-making process. It’s going to make an excellent plaster cast of Theo’s little arm, which will help create a custom-fitted socket for him. This will be much more accurate than the 3D scan I did of him earlier. Scanning the arm of a child who’s not yet 3 years old is no easy task! #prosthetics #socket #socketCreation #moldMaking

Today, we met with the talented team at UC Berkeley that’s doing some great R&D work on custom prosthetics for children. We’re all very excited about what the team is working on - Theo too! When we entered The Invention Lab, it felt like we’d stepped into Big Hero 6’s San Fransokyo. We’ll keep you updated on the progress...... #bionics #prosthetics #sanfransokyo #goTeam!

Great piece about our friend Braden Leonard's journey to creating rugged prosthetics for athletic experiences, with the support of the Autodesk BUILD Space. #prosthetics

You've probably already heard of Shaquem Griffin, the linebacker for the Seattle Seahawks Football team who was born with amniotic band syndrome, who refused to allow the fact that he only had one hand limit him. This short piece shares his personal and athletic triumph over any sense of limitation, and how he inspires today's generation of children with limb amputations. It brought tears to our eyes as we showed it to our young son, who watched with wide-eyed wonder. #Adaptive #IAmAdaptive #AdaptiveHeroes #ABS #AmnioticBandSyndrome #Amputees #NeverGiveUp #ModernDayHeroes
