As our team responds to unprecedented December demand, here is some important information for those coming in to the shop this week: You will likely have to wait in line. ... We have streamlined the order pick-up process to mitigate the long wait times many of you experienced at Thanksgiving. Expedited checkout will be available for customers who pre-ordered their entire order for pickup. Our order deadline has passed and we will not be taking orders over the phone or online. Our butchery case is well stocked, and we are selling everything first-come, first serve in person at the shop. Again, we will not hold items over the phone. Thank you for your understanding. We hope our system minimizes the waiting time Christmas week, however you should still expect a line as we adhere to strict COVID precautions, which includes limiting the number of customers inside the shop at a time. Mike has been a ray of sunshine since he joined The Local Butcher Shop four years ago. Not only is he a talented butcher, but a kind, caring and earnest leader on our team. Celebrating 9 years of good meat this Saturday! The Local Butcher Shop turns 9 years old this month! Our tradition has always been to celebrate at the shop with complimentary sliders hot off the grill for customers. Our pandemic protocols make slingin' sliders a bit difficult but we are up for the challenge! On Saturday, August 15th we'll be sending customers home with a slider in a to-go box to enjoy in the car on your way home. Also, everything in the shop will be 9% off! Come by and wish us happy anniversary!
