Wow!! To say this year has been a roller coaster would be an understatement. We got shut down in March, in April we won Antelope Valley’s Best in two categories for the third year in a row, opened in June and shut down again in July. After much contemplation we decided to look for someone to purchase The Kru Salon. We are dedicated to keeping our Kru together, but as of right now we have not found that new buyer. Huge thank you to every client & staff member who offered donat...ions, but we cannot return due to the circumstances. Bobbi is going to stay at home with her children while home schooling & Courtney is on to another adventure. We embarked on this journey as a duo & we’re exiting as an even stronger pair. We want to thank each person who has walked through our doors in the last, epic ten years. Every client & every Kru member has made this awesome environment what it is today. With an extremely heavy heart, The KRU Salon will be permanently closed. We thank you for all of your amazing support during this pandemic & for more importantly, the last decade. We are 2 1/2 hours into our first work day here at The Kru! We cannot accept walk-ins right now. Each artist is booking their own appointments. Sadly, our nail artists & estheticians cannot return yet

We are so excited to see each and everyone of you! Please be patient while we are trying our best to accommodate everyone. This is a new way of life for all of us. Bare with us as we try our best to keep our staff and clientele healthy & safe! We will be practicing social distancing so please keep that in mind while entering The Kru. ... Waiting areas are closed. Clients must call upon arrival to the parking lot before entering the salon to ensure that we are ready for you. You may call us at 661.942.6578 or call/text your personal artist directly. Clients are required to wash their hands upon entering the salon and/or use hand sanitizer. We ask you to do the same when leaving our establishment. Stylists and staff are washing their own hands frequently, too. Please eat before coming to your appointment. Outside food is no longer accepted into our space for the time being. Face masks are required by all. Due to restrictions on supplies we ask you to bring your own. We suggest you bring a disposable mask just in case hair color gets on it. We don’t want to ruin any cute ones you may have. The amount of people in the salon at one time is limited. This means appointments are required, guests (including children) are not allowed nor are pets, and stylists aren't able to take as many clients in one day. Disposable gloves must be worn by staff when possible, otherwise hand sanitizer is used often. We have numerous hand sanitizing stations dispersed throughout our space. The salon is disinfected regularly, and stations are cleaned between every appointment. Everything that gets touched will be wiped down after each client. That includes tools, products, chairs, counters, etc. Clients should be healthy and without a fever before coming to their appointment. This rule goes for our staff as well. If you have felt ill in the last 14 days please stay home. We promise you will receive an appointment at a later date. At The Kru, all clients must have their temperature checked upon arrival: Temperatures of 100 degrees or more will be asked to cancel and return at a later date. Clients will also be required to sign a waiver prior to their appointment at The Kru.
