The Kingsley Sessions

The Kingsley Sessions are planning 2 concerts! I’ll post each separately. Please mark your calendars for November 22,2020 at 12:00 noon Pacific Standard Time... This concert features String Together which is me, Patti Amelotte (hammered dulcimer and button accordion) and Brenda Hunter (harp, hammered dulcimer and fiddle.) We’ll be playing dueling hammered dulcimers as well as some of Brenda’s gorgeous arrangements of holiday music. We’ll throw in some classical pieces and some Irish tunes too. We will be performing together in the Great Room and are planning to play over Zoom so please email me about reserving a spot and so that it can send you the link. Donations gratefully accepted. At Monte Vista Unitarian Universalist Congregation 9185 Monte Vista Ave., Montclair CA Saturday May 117:30 PM Winner of multiple All-Ireland titles and ‘Fiddler of Oriel’ competitions, Gerry O’Connor is regarded as one of the finest Irish fiddle players of his generation. He has toured and recorded with members of Planxty, The Bothy Band, and The Chieftains, to name a few. He is featured on numerous acclaimed ensemble and solo recordings. Gerry teaches fiddle at the Willie Clancy Summer school and at master classes throughout Europe. The National Committee of Comhaltas has recently honored Gerry with a 2018 Bardic award. Gerry is also a violin-maker, music teacher, and music producer; he currently tours with the Canadian Irish legends The Irish Rovers. Accompanying Gerry O’Connor will be Barry Fisher on guitar and Patti Amelotte on piano. What a lovely concert last monday night with Aryeh and Lisa Lynne. I'll try to post a couple pictures and, with their permission some short videos. It was a magical night and The Kingsley Sessions is grateful to them and to all who came out to support such fine acoustic musicians in our beautiful space.
