ATTENTION *** NO PARKING ON SEAGATE DRIVE ***... Homeowners, Thank you for your cooperation with the street slurry job today. All the cars were out of the Association's parking spaces before the we started. However, many cars were parked along Seagate Drive between the Association's gates and the stop sign at Promenade Pkwy. We need to slurry on Seagate Drive as well and were not able to that this morning. Next Wednesday, October 14th we will have to slurry both sides of Seagate Drive. Please do not park just outside the gates on Seagate Drive or on the area with pavers. The City has given us a permit to park on Promenade between Seagate Drive and Gothard in the red curb areas. Just do not park with in 40 feet of any corner. Also, Seagate Drive on the other side of Promenade has no parking on Wednesday mornings for street sweeping. You will be ticketed if you park there. We have been receiving hundreds of calls into our dispatch center regarding illegal fireworks going off every night in our city. Instead of calling it in and ov...erwhelming police service phone lines, why not download the MyHB App and do it from the convenience of your phone? You can report illegal fireworks or the sale of illegal fireworks on the app. We ask that you do your best to provide us with an address, but if you don't have an address, you can enter the cross streets to provide us with information about the location. By providing us with a specific address, it will help us conduct our investigation. In addition we will, at minimum, follow up with those residences with a visit from officers and correspondence from the police department. This helps us pinpoint locations and repeat offenders. If you do not want to download the app, you can also simply go to our webpage and click on the red button at the top of the page. You can see illustrations of both in the attached photo as well as a quick video tutorial. Please remember, fireworks are not allowed in our city until July 4. On that day, discharge of Safe and Sane Fireworks is only allowed from Noon - 10 p.m.

With the recent COVID-19 fueled Pandession creating uncertainty in the housing market, it is surely understandable for buyers and sellers to hit the panic but...ton and resort to the last time they got burned, the Great Recession. We at Reports On Housing feel it is necessary to help educate our audience and shed some light on the current housing market. Rest assured, these are not the same circumstances as the Great Recession. While demand in both situations is significantly low, the number of homes (supply) on the market in 2008 was nearly 4 times what it is today. Additionally, the equity of owner-occupied homes increased to a record $29.2 trillion in the third quarter of 2019, according to the Federal Reserve. The increase in homeowner equity, currently American’s have a 64% equity stake in their own homes, is up from the previous year, and significantly up from Great Recession levels, where it was below 50%. Lower mortgage rates will continue to assist demand levels by allowing qualified buyers to purchase more home and lower their monthly payments.
