The Industry

Our final salon for our LGBTQ+ project is this Saturday afternoon, 4/14 at 3pm, at Babycakes Hillcrest! Stories, performances, discussion, craft talk, and writing time! Come tell your story! Our final production "Kith & Kin" is set for June 2 :)

Join us for another exciting and inspiring session at Babycakes San Diego with The Whole Alphabet and our friends So Say We All! Featuring performances from Lauren Cusitello and Tenley Lozano, discussion, writing workshop, generative free writing time, and delicious cake! We are working towards a June main stage showcase and want your story.

Join us next Monday as we welcome James Houlahan and Bad & The Ugly for an intimate acoustic show! Pizza and music activity provided for all kids with admission :)

We've teamed up with our friends at So Say We All to bring you an afternoon of performances of true stories by members of the queer community, discussion, and a generative workshop for your own story! The Whole Alphabet is a network that seeks to connect with, inspire, entertain, and mobilize our San Diego neighbors through the power of story. Our values include the queer experience, faith and spirituality (or lack thereof), innovation, leadership, and social justice.

This amazing all-ages Singer/Songwriter Showcase is happening this Thursday! Please join us and help us welcome Lindsay White and Megan Betley!

Here's another story of heartbreak and casualty. It just so happens that The Industry believes in resurrection and in the power of community! Spaces like The Industry are much needed especially during these dark and difficult days. We are grateful for all who played a role in the making of this miracle. These are some dark and troubling days we're living in but we always have the opportunity to stand up and resist all forms of hate and racism in whatever form they present themselves. The Industry is grateful for our friends at South Bay Pride Art & Music Festival for a chance to share in their work of spreading a message of acceptance and inclusivity.
