Musical artistic freedom in Rock and Metal. First things first, I support creative freedom lyrically in music PERIOD. I do not assume or judge anything about your character because of the content in your lyrics. I think music is a form of art where you can express anything, be anything, touch any subject good and evil, and it's all permitted.... In Metal, we have entire subgenre's that revolve around death, rape, sacrifice and the more evil parts of humanity entirely. This does not make the artists bad people and does not mean that those people are all modern day Jack The Rippers. In Hip Hop they have "Horror-core" and it's exactly the same thing. In film, we have the classic Horror genre and most of it revolves around killing, terrorizing and torturing other people, but we do not, and should not assume that the director, author, writer, lyricists, graphic artist, etc would do or want to do all of these things in that art. THEY ARE NOT EVIL PEOPLE WITH EVIL INTENTIONS. ONLY ASSHOLES try to use that kind of art against you and those people are pieces of garbage. To try to rally people against you to silence you because of your art is authoritarian and shitty. They can go to hell and as long as I'm the one pressing record, you all can and should say whatever the hell you want. Fuck censorious garbage people that try to tell you what you can and can't say. Censorship ain't metal. Evil lyrics don't make evil artists.

I'm not an endorsed artist with Arachnid Cabinets but I like to rep gear that I actually like. A bit over a year ago I had Robert build me a single wide body 1...12, that sounds at least like a 212 easily, and the thing has worked wonders. I've jammed with drummers using only a single cab, and they're always blown away at how close to a 412 it sounds. I liked the cab so much that I had him make me another with a different model speaker installed. I love the look of them and the sound. I've used them on multiple recordings at my studio The Ice Chamber Studio and I figured I'd record a little piece of one of my songs with the cab in real time so you guys can hear them. I looped the track and did 2 takes,1 after another then panned one left and panned one right. I used my 6505+ without any overdrive or pedals, just straight into the amp. Take a listen. See more
