Today we are putting aside our work to stay quiet and clear the stage for those whose voices and stories deserve to be heard because they have been muted for too long. Take today to listen and think what it would be like to walk in the shoes of others. Peek a boo! We’ve been quiet on social media since we had to close our doors because (like most people) we have no clue when we will be able to go back and what that will even look like. But we’re here and we miss you so we wanted to say hey! So here’s a pic from our Speakeasy Murder Mystery Christmas party (can we go back? ). We know you all are in need of services and we want you to know that we’re all in the same boat on that topic...we’re lookin just as crazy as you...an...d if it makes you feel any better, when we do get to open we’ll probably do all of your hair before we get to ours because - let’s face it - we are always the LAST to sit in the chair. Not only do we miss you guys but we miss each other so so much. We really have such a special family bond at The Lab that you don’t see very often in life especially in our industry. You will all be the first to know when we re-open. As much as we would all love to be at work - doing what we love and making money to support our families - we value your and your families health as much as we value our own. As fun as our Speakeasy Murder Mystery party was - we will not be turning the salon into an underground shop - the deaths at that party were pretend and the ones happening now aren’t. We will be determining when to reopen based on information from California’s governor as it is released. We have always been there for you - early mornings, late nights, once in a lifetime events, weekends, last minute squeeze ins - and in return we ask that you wait for us.
