Ain't that purdy?... -The Andy Griffith Show It’s tough out there even in the best of times. Everyone, no matter how okay they may seem on the outside, is struggling with something on the inside. There are monsters under our beds and darkness in the corners. These days those somethings, no matter how big or small, are magnified. If you are having a tough time, ask for help, call a friend and chat. Take a walk, sing a song, cry, scream, get rest, run, draw, dance, swim, play, get lost in a book, do what makes you happy once a day. If you know someone who could use an ounce of sunshine, send it to them! It’s a great spirit lifter to get an unexpected call, text, or message from a friend. It will lift your spirits too. Let’s be kind and patient with each other. Let’s remember to spread a little sunshine every day.

Today the sun and the moon will dance together, creating a full Solar Eclipse. Most of us won’t be able to witness this dance in person, but that doesn’t stop the beautiful memories of a time in Oregon in 2017 where we gathered with people from all over the world to create what was the Global Eclipse Gathering! We were fortunate to be able to offer our most expansive immersive musical environment, the Silk Road, which included music from all over the world, a spice... market, trading post, tarot, hookah lounge, tea temple, bazaar, foot washing, massage tent, vitamin b injections tent, The Tri lounge, reiki, aerial pyramid, a lot of rugs, and love and laughter. With all the good times it was also really, really hard - the production of an event like that isn’t for the faint of heart. If you worked it you know it was a battle, but all worth it 100 times over... With all that it was we have to stop and pay our love and respects to Kevin Kochen, who was the driving force in many aspects of making the Oregon Global Eclipse Gathering what it was. Without his efforts none of that would have been possible. He led a selfless life, one that brought many people together over the years, one that was filled with humor, introspection and experience. He was a great friend, lover and father. Your presence is greatly missed. Thankfully you left your spirit inside of us all for life times to come.
