Friends, Neighbors, & Guests of The Good Pizza, So, there is a combination of levity, gratitude, and yes sadness that I would like to convey here; I hope that the potency and sincerity comes through. The details by which we find ourselves in are relatively boring business and lease related, but it should not be ignored that we did absolutely everything within our power to obtain a fair model by which to stay for the foreseeable future. Immovable forces prevented that. 13 year...s ago, I opened The Good Pizza in what I can best describe as an embarrassment of riches. It was the perfect space, in the perfect neighborhood, surrounded with the finest people. We worked to fit in, earn your trust, and provide the best Italian food we could. Regrettably, it is time to say good-bye, but not without recognizing the inimitable memories of having had the privilege and honor of serving every man, woman, and child who walked through our doors over these many cycles around the sun. This does not go unnoticed and I am eternally grateful. You have supported a small family owned business, employed countless people, and shared your stories. Equally important is the engagement of so many who asked for community support. No humble brag here, but neither to be falsely modest. Every event we catered for schools, teachers, police, nurses, senior centers, and fire was not only our privilege, bust as we saw it, our duty. Every gift certificate asked and granted to you for causes close to your heart were close to ours too. You and your families will forever remain in ours. So, from the bottom of a million hearts, heroic thanks, and gratitude to you all. Maybe we’ll see you soon, in another location in Westchester!!!!!
