The Glass Man & Sons Alameda 08.06.2022
On Saturday, May 19, The Glass Man and Sons will be joining thousands in San Francisco to walk for a cure for cystic fibrosis (CF), the world’s most common genetic disease. Omri Levi is the next Heir to the Throne of The Glass Man and Sons. Omri was diagnosed with CF at birth (he’s the little guy in the attached picture, with big sister Naomi). We knew nothing about CF, but I’ve learned a lot. ... CF destroys the functioning of lungs and gut. Fifty years ago, Omri would have died as a baby. Thirty years ago, he might have lived to late childhood. Today, with intensive treatments and drugs, a CF patient may live forty years or more. That’s good progressbut CF fighters mean to beat this thing entirely. Please us, help fund CF research by sponsoring any one of us in the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s Great Strides fundraising walk. Your contribution of any size will be put to excellent use. One thing more: would you pass this appeal along to a generous friend? Thank you on behalf of all who battle this cruel disease. Hugs, Sandy PS. We’re walking a beautiful piece of the San Francisco waterfront. If you’d like to come with, sign up here and let me know!

The Glass Man and Sons have donated, Alex has been a longtime friend and fellow glazier for many years. We here at The Man and Sons are so sorry to hear that his dream home is gone. On the brighter note, we are happy that both Alex and his 94-year-old mother are safe. Alex and mom will be moving back to Alameda while they figure out the next chapter, at 69 and 94 this is not going to be an easy chapter to write. So please if you are reading this and if you can please donate or pass this information along because when you have nothing, every little bit counts. https://www.gofundme.com/restarting-life-after-tragedy
