The Funky Bazaar

THE FUNKY BAZAAR IS NOT AN ESSENTIAL SERVICE!! Based on the official governing announcements today and their request for non-essential businesses to shut down temporarily in consideration for the public's safety and in an attempt to try and squelch the spread of Covid19, THE FUNKY BAZAAR will be closed until further notice. I am taking this seriously. And, I am going to trust that our governing agencies will help us get through this time. It will not be easy. I am one of the ...many that depend on staying open to be able to pay my month to month bills. I have no deep pockets. But, our health and those others whose health might be at more risk than mine, must come first. I have a very good presence on Yelp and Trip Advisor. I have many people who come to my shop from off-hill who have told me they found me on my social media page and made it a point to make sure to visit my shop when they planned their trip to Idyllwild. With that in mind, I morally and ethically have no choice but to close shop until we are told it is safe to re-open to the public. Not only for them, but for us and our little island in the sky. For now, THE FUNKY BAZAAR will not be an opened destination in Idyllwild. On the bright side, it'll give me a chance to do a few things in my shop that I never get a chance to do like... dusting!!! And... as long as Higher Grounds is open to sell coffee through a take-out window, you'll find me there in the mornings... albeit 6-feet away!! See you on the other side of this situation.

AN ECCENTRIC/ECLECTIC CHRISTMAS @ THE FUNKY BAZAAR!! SHOP IDY THIS YEAR!!! 'Tis the season and I have stocked up The Funky Bazaar with all sorts of unique and diverse special items and gifts for you and/or your loved ones!! I've even got 'normal' stuff!! Why settle for the ordinary when you can get 'funky'!?... Check out the photos below and their descriptions. And, if you've never been into my shop before, well, then... you're in for a treat!! Not only do I have three floors to wander around, I guarantee you won't find a lot of this stuff at Wal-Mart!! Let's make this an Idyllwild Christmas!!! AND, don't forget to check out the other great shops in Idy before you run down to the flatland to look for gifts!!! I'm sure all of us vendors in our little village will appreciate it!!! FINALLY... MY STEAMPUNK SUNGLASSES HAVE ARRIVED AT THE FUNKY BAZAAR, JUST IN TIME FOR CHRISTMAS!!! IT ONLY TOOK 2 MONTHS!!! SHEEESH!! Anyway, for those of you have been asking and waiting... THEY'RE HERE!!! And, if the past two years are any gauge, they won't last long!!... I've got 4 lens colors... Green, Brown, Blue & Yellow. Still ONLY $15 a pair!!
