We officially retired at 8:54pm on December 23, 2016!! The Fun Corner is very beautiful memories that we shall cherish for our lifetime. Thank you to our thousands and thousands of customers that shopped with and trusted us to have the many, many products that you were seeking. In 60 years, we have served many generations. Steve and I will be available via our Facebook page still for any questions about Ben Make-Up, items you need, where to find something and updates. Update - Steve. He’s doing remarkably well. He wanted to thank you all. He spent today reading all your good wishes, prayers and special messages. To say he was overwhelmed is an understatement. Thank you all!!!

Steve is having an emergency triple bypass surgery this morning. I just spoke with the surgeon. The surgeon says it must be done today. He has a major blocka...ge on his left side. He is in St. Bernardine’s Hospital in San Bernardino. They are known for their cardiology expertise. Kaiser/Fontana ER had him transferred here late last night because of his acute condition. I covet your prayers and thoughts as he undergoes this within the next hour or so.

This is the riding center that our Faire family raised money to buy a horse for their therapy program. Sophia has ridden our horse in her therapy. Besides riding, they take care of their horse’at the end of each session. The gait of the horse mimics the natural walking pattern of a person. It’s been so good for Sophia and her development. Being totally confined to her wheelchair, this is one of the few exercises that she can do.

The BEN NYE make department is NOW OPEN at Party Plus in Redlands!!!! Steve will be there on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11am-5pm. TODAY is the LAST day that you can come and buy Ben Nye make-up, Santa suits, plus all Christmas costumes and accessories. We have a couple of Easter Bunnies left. Biblical costumes, both child and adult are being packed at the end of the day. ALL fixtures must be purchased today. Starting tomorrow, there will be no customer admittance. We are very well-stocked in both children and adult sizes and characters. Biblical wigs and beards are also in stock. Angel wings and halos are in stock. Thanksgiving - we have pilgrim outfits and accessories. Also, have the most amazing Turkey Mascot costume that is normally $600 priced extremely low. He's a professional costume with a great personality. Check on the collector masks that are normally in the $50 and up range - they are 40% off too. Mardi Gras masks and tiaras are also 40% off and no one has a greater variety than Fun Corner. I would also note that we have lots of grid, fixtures, cabinets, shelf units, hooks and many other items. We have price guns, along with office supplies and packaging supplies. Lastly, we have been approached by many that wanted to bid on our iconic moving letter sign on the front of our store. We are accepting bids for the letters only. This does not include any mechanical parts. The winning bid will receive all the letters for their one bid. Letters should be ready for pick-up after December 12th. We are not selling individual letters. Ben Nye make-up is not discounted per our agreement as a licensed dealer. Party Plus in Redlands is becoming the new Ben Nye dealer in the Inland Empire. Steve will be working with them to set up and welcome all of our Ben Nye customers. I will post updated information as their launch date for Ben Nye is announced. Our family has been honored and proud to be your theatrical supplier for the past 60 years. Bud and Gene Shadegg started the dream and we continued it when we purchased the Fun Corner in 1984. To say we will miss it is a very big understatement, but we know that it's time we look forward to our new retirement adventures. Our hours this week are Tuesday, Friday & Saturday 9am-7pm. Wednesday 9am-4pm and closed Thursday for Thanksgiving. Sunday (our closing day) will be 10am-4p.m. We invite you to share this with your many theatrical groups, actors, friends and family.
