Concert season isn’t over yet!

Chris Isaak and his band mates, who have stayed together for 35 years; put on a great show last night at the Fruit Yard Amphitheater and promised the crowd with... a smile, "Semi-professional entertainment". The Stockton native was glad to be back home and he said to the crowd "I'm with my People". Chris Isaak took to the crowd during one song and even stopped for a selfie with a fan and sat on her lap. His goofy humor and amazing vocals entertained the crowd all through the night with hit after hit, funny stories and his encore featuring his famous mirrored suit. They have the great moves and all of the silent cues you get when your band has played together for so long. Kenny Dale Johnson on drums, Hershel Yatovitz on guitars, Roland Salley on bass and Scott Plunkett on keys and Rafael Padilla on percussion, the band was swingin', tight and fun. One of the treats of the Fruityard Amphitheater is the amazing sound. Not overdone and crystal clear and there is not a bad seat in the house. The ViewCrew alternated between seats in the 4th row and the lawn and it was wonderful. Next time you get a chance to see a show at the Fruityard, do it and don't miss Chris Isaak next time he comes around. See more
