Vacuum bagging is a technique employed to create mechanical pressure on a laminate during its cure cycle. Pressurizing a composite lamination serves several functions. First, it removes trapped air between layers. Second, it compacts the fiber layers for efficient force transmission among fiber bundles and prevents shifting of fiber orientation during cure. Third, it reduces humidity. "First off I'd like to say thank you to Negrete boys racing for bringing me on as a codriver with the team for SNORE Battle at Primm 2020. We didn't have the best qualifying lap but with the talent of Larry Negrete Jr. on Saturday and Larry Negrete Sr. on Sunday. We were able to make top 10 overall. We would have placed top 5 but unfortunately we had a mechanical issue on the last lap that ended up costing us some time and position. Larry and I will be back in the car for Rage at the River.
