How far you go in life depends on your being tender with the young, compassionate with the aged, sympathetic with the striving, and tolerant of the weak and the strong. Because someday in life you will have been all of these. George Washington Happy President Day! ##PresidentsDay

Happy Chinese New Year "Gung Hay Fat Choy" to our community, staff, and residents! Epiphany Center wishes everyone good fortune on this Chinese New Year, the year of the Ox. The Ox is the second of all zodiac animals. According to one myth, the Jade Emperor said the order would be decided by the order in which they arrived to his party. The Ox was about to be the first to arrive, but Rat tricked Ox into giving him a ride. Then, just as they arrived, Rat jumped down and lande...d ahead of Ox. Thus, Ox became the second animal. In Chinese culture, the Ox is a valued animal. Oxen are the hard workers in the background, intelligent and reliable, but never demanding praise. Recent years of the Ox are: 1925, 1937, 1949, 1961, 1973, 1985, 1997, 2009, 2021 Wishing you all Good Health, Good Luck and Much Happiness throughout the Chinese New Year!

It's #GlobalHandwashingDay! The theme for 2020 is #HandHygieneforAll. #HandHygieneforAll means creating lasting handwashing habits. Epiphany Center practices #handhygiene. The COVID-19 pandemic provides an important reminder that one of the most effective ways to stop the spread of germs and stay healthy is also one of the simplest; handwashing with soap and water. Keeping hands clean can prevent 1 in 3 diarrheal illnesses and 1 in 5 respiratory infections, such as a cold or the flu. Let's all keep one another safe, healthy and keep washing our hands!
