New Cafe Menu Offerings There's nothing better than a warm, flaky empanada on a cold, winter day. Drop by today to try one of these great handheld snacks! El Porteño, our neighbors at The Ferry Building Marketplace, is considered one of the finest empanada producers in San Francisco. Owner Joseph Ahearne got the recipe for his buttery and flaky empanada pastry from his Argentinean grandmother.... We are currently offering (either warmed to eat immediately or chilled to heat at home later): Champinones: Local seasonal mushrooms sauteed with shallots, aged parmesan and creme fraiche. Fugazzeta: Aged cheddar, shaved onions with Oregano. Humita: Super sweet white corn, onions and roasted red peppers. Acelga: Locally sourced, organic Swiss Chard, gruyere and toasted pine nuts. La Maradona: Tomatoes, basil, and mozzarella We also have authentic Argentinian Chimichirri as a dipping sauce on the side! Drop by and try some of our other new offerings! New Cafe Menu Offerings In concert with the opening of our new Ferry Building Marketplace location this week, we have revamped our cafe menu at all our markets and added some great offerings, plus a few old favorites like the Cortlandia, a panini with fig, proscuitto and Humboldt Fog cheese. The Rebel Within is almost certainly Craftsman & Wolves' signature item: a savory muffin made with asiago parmesan cheese, green scallions, and pork sausage. The Rebel Within, hence it's... name, is the perfectly cooked soft boiled egg in the center. As EATER SF (https://www.eater.com//rebel-within-craftsman-and-wolves-s) describes it: "the Rebel Within, a stunning pastry that at first glance looks like a humble muffin. Slice the Rebel open, and brace for a shock of oozing orange-yellow yolk from a perfect soft-boiled egg.
