And just like that I'm forced to close... again. It definitely hurts a little more this time around. Please be patient and know that I will let you know as soon I'm allowed and READY to reopen.

In the last few months of pandemic lockdown and now social revolution, I've felt it all. Confusion, anger, worry, sorrow, grief, peace, joy, and hope. I've also been M.I.A. on this page on purpose. For those of you who actually read my captions and take the time to TRULY watch and listen to my multiple posts about the subject, this is nothing new. To those of you who choose to scroll and double tap everything on your feed, pretending that you're involved and aware, I doubt y...ou're even reading this right now but I know you'll make sure to like it. With the current state of the world and more specifically, this country, YOUR HAIR DOESN'T MATTER. I want you to go back and read that again. It's mindblowing to me that we have people fighting for their health, for black lives, justice and equality, but the only thing you're concerned with is getting your hair done. "We're all in this together," yet entitlement leads you to believe that I should care about jumping at the chance to answer the 78th text/dm/call you've given me about your hair. Your not concerned with my well being, mental health, or the numerous other mental and emotional things we've all been dealing with. You just wanna make sure you look good for your next selfie, boomerang, or story post. Now I know that as a business owner I should be silent about my true feelings for the sake of keeping clients happy and giving them what they want. Well, I stayed quiet, let YOU run MY business, and here we are. Standing at a crossroads where I'm willing to deal with a lack of clients/work/money to have my sanity/peace of mind/life back. Most of you will message me supportive, love filled comments and I absolutely appreciate that more than you know. Some of you will double tap without reading this and go straight to messaging me for an appointment. Others will feel personally attacked and may choose to part ways with me. I'm completely fine with that. This has been a time of reflection for me and my line in the sand has been clearly drawn. I can't and won't go back to how things were before. So from the woman behind the business I thank you and wish you the best to all who do the same for me.

... until then, thank you.

Here's a little catch up and what I know about the shop opening up again.
