This master bedroom transformation took some thought and creativity. We started with the end result and worked at both ends. Took some risks and dreamt a little. A vintage gem powerhouse of a kitchen we built start to finish. @compass_cabinets provided the custom cabinets and @departureindustries and @khrystentaylor_atelier provided the design work and permit drawings. Functional details like the column pull outs flanking the gas cooktop are a highlight. @kustom_kitchens provided the appliances we installed. @bedrosianstilefresno supplied the tile and countertops. Finished off with lovely warm cork flooring.

We are into a super detailed shower/Roman tub retile project with some really sweet tile from @daltile_fresno. Thankfully, creativity and problem solving is on our blood, so we took the @tabarkastudio tiles that were supposed to have been antiqued and did it ourselves. This tile is lovely, in every way and compliments the cabinetry we designed and built, as shown here. But we needed that last touch. The Black kitchen getting handled. We are using Nero from Cleaf - a heavy grained ‘burnt’ oak look laminate. In contrast with bright colored flower murals on the walls, antique mirrored backsplash tile, a Nightshade flower inspired metal hood and details that will make you wonder. A fireplace we did not too long ago but not really highlighted. We used a series of hexagon tiles, hot rolled mild steel, crushed black glass and a lovely black metal black plaster to murder this fireplace.
