Congratulations to Barbara "Bobbie" F. for being our most recent In-Room Bingo winner! Bobbie won a luxurious gray robe, a crystal jewel tone Balloon of her choice, and an award certificate that she was overjoyed to receive! During her ceremony, we all danced to "We are the Champions" by Queen! This was a happy, happy celebration. Congratulations, Bobbie!

We were able to get our hands on Vintage Doozy Bird puppets for our residents! They had so much fun with each bird. So much so, they became part of the show by taking over and creating skits of their own! Bob, Bobbie, and Ruthie couldn't get enough of their furry friends! Delores loved them so much, we let her keep one all day long. She took Pinky around to visit all of her friends! Lilly lovingly named one of the puppets "Buddy." We served popcorn with happy hour, sparkling beverages, listened to Christmas music, and enjoyed the company of each other and our new friends.

Yesterday, we presented a check to The Adopt-an-Elder Foundation. All funds were collected during our Yoi Shigoto Pie Fundraiser. We are so thankful for the amazing turnout, teamwork, support, and success driven by everyone who donated and took part with helping hands and warm hearts. A special thank you to Bristol Hospice for hosting the hot cocoa bar and bringing extra cheer! We are grateful for everyone who took part in making this possible!

For the first time in over 8 months, our residents were able to gather for crafts again! Our residents were overjoyed during this Christmas ornament craft session.
