Groundbreaking new information. This is the first study to find a tool to study gut health, gut inflammation, and its relationship to particular diseases. Information is moving at lightning speed in the study of the microbiome and gut health! This is the first example of the use of bioluminescent imaging probes in humans, Goun says. The gut microbiome plays a huge role in various health issues such as cancer, diabetes, obesity, Parkinson’s disease, depression, and autism, and now, this new tool will help us better understand the relationship between the gut function and these diseases. In addition, it will allow us to develop more effective probiotics and prebiotics to improve gut health.

January 2021 trending health news brought us hope for change and a departure from 2020! We learned more about the use of CBD for IBS and the limitless benefits of exercise. And, of course, a lot of information continues to emerge on the fight against Covid-19. In my articles, I talked about sucrose, aka table sugar, and its relationship to IBS, a crazy-looking new superfood, and don’t forget about those gluten-free Oreos!

These numbers are shocking and disturbing. As the mother of a disabled child and a doctor who treats many with invisible disabilities I am disheartened by these new research statistics. I encourage people to share this article or the direct research with their providers. It may be the first step to increasing awareness of the magnitude of the problem. Feel free to share your experiences in the comment section if you wish. It may provide comfort knowing you are not alone. Now there is research to confirm it. In my article about why gluten-free Oreos are a big deal https://theceliacmd.com/why-gluten-free-oreos-are-a-big-de/ I forgot to include this! Thoughts? Would you try it?
