The County of Orange Health Care Agency is conducting a survey of attitudes toward vaccination for Covid-19, which will be of great assistance to them in planni...ng for distribution of the vaccine when it becomes available. All responses are anonymous and confidential. Survey will take you less than 5 minutes to complete. In addition to the County of Orange's threshold languages, we are very proud to inform our Cambodian community that the survey is also available in Khmer (Cambodian). The Cambodian Family is very excited to have been able to partner with the County to ensure this language access. -19 Khmer: www.research.net/r/covidvaccineCambodian English: www.research.net/r/covidvaccine_English Arabic: www.research.net/r/covidvaccine_Arabic Farsi: www.research.net/r/covidvaccine_Farsi Chinese: www.research.net/r/covidvaccine_Chinese Korean: www.research.net/r/covidvaccine_Korean Spanish: www.research.net/r/covidvaccine_Spanish Vietnamese: www.research.net/r/covidvaccine_Viet

We are very proud of Lok Ta (Grandpa) Heng, an 80-year-old Cambodian community member and advocate, who has been featured in Long Beach Press-Telegram for his experience as a first-time voter. I want to vote in this election because I want to ensure that my voice, as part of the Cambodian community, is heard, Heng Kem said. Voting is not just a privilege. It is a duty, and it should not be taken for granted.

The Cambodian Family gets out the vote! Every day, we work hard to improve the health and well-being of our communities. Through our direct services, like healthcare navigation, translation and interpretation, online classes, etc., we build familiarity and trust with the people we love. Voting - our civic engagement - ensures that our voice is heard. If you're interested in the next election, or want to get involved in your community, please reach out to our Civic Engagement department to get started - email [email protected]!

"I am a survivor of the Cambodian genocide regime and came to America in 1985 as a refugee, but did not become an actual citizen until 2011. Even though I’ve been a citizen for almost a decade, this is my first time votingin the past, there’s been no one to help me, no one to educate me, no one to walk me through things like registration, or the civics test [for citizenship]." - Cambodian community member of Santa Ana At the Cambodian Family Community Center, we're so pr...oud of our community members that came out to vote! What's even more impressive is that many of them are first time voters. Even though they may have been citizens for years, voter resources in Khmer (Cambodian) are so scarce - that's why our agency provides in-language civics classes and voter education workshops. Voting is not just a right - it's a duty, and a duty that we have taken very seriously for decades. It may be too late to vote in this election, but if you're interested in the next one please contact us in ask about our Immigration and Citizenship program - call (562) 331-9585! See more
