Real champions can never truly be defeated. Because even when they lose, they get right back up, and keep fighting. A very special thanks to our former competitors and last year's middle school Public Forum National champions, Devesh & Ankush, who after going 11 rounds in Public Forum at the NSDA National high school tournament, stopped by our team hotel to help prep out our debaters for their second day of middle school competition. Couldn't ask for better alums, thank you guys.

Congrats to several of our alumni as well as current students competing at the Stanford Invitational this weekend. In public forum we had 4 teams consisting of former students as well as one team who is currently enrolled in our program. Of these 5 teams 4 advanced into elimination rounds with the other team not advancing due to speaker points. Congrats to our former students from Mission San Jose Keshav, Steven, Ansh, Rohan, Devesh and Ankush for advancing into triple octofi...nals. Congrats to our current student Sauntharya and her partner from Washington High school for also advancing into triple octofinals. Keshav was also the 20th speaker at the tournament. In LD, we had our former student Lavanya advance to triple octofinals as well. Update: The teams of Ansh/Rohan and Devesh/Ankush are advancing to double-octofinals and are one round away from picking up another bid to the Tournament of Champions. Best of Luck folks. Update 2: sorry for omitting another team but congrats also to the team of Ani and Anshul from Amador Valley High School for advancing as well.
